carehome.page is an independent information service. We are not paid by care homes, care providers, or local authorities to include, promote, or rank any listing. No care home can pay to improve its position on this site.

Where our data comes from

All care home listings, CQC ratings, inspection dates, and regulated activities data comes directly from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. We download and process this data regularly and display it under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Our pipeline date (shown in the footer and on each page) tells you when we last updated from CQC's data. The CQC updates its own records as inspections occur — always check the CQC website for the most current report.

Family reviews and quotes

Where shown, family review quotes are drawn from publicly available sources including carehome.co.uk. We select quotes that reflect the range of experiences reported. We do not edit quotes beyond removing personal identifying details. Ratings shown alongside reviews reflect the score on the source platform at the time of collection.

We do not publish reviews submitted directly to us. We do not accept payment to include or exclude reviews.

Fees and costs

Any fee ranges shown are indicative national or regional averages based on publicly available data and government guidance. We do not obtain live fee quotes from individual homes. Always contact a care home directly or speak with your local authority for accurate, up-to-date fees.
